Sara Ford is visiting her hometown which was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. She raised money and brought supplies. But now she’s writing about what life is like in the hurricane zone. She works as a tester on the Visual Studio team. This is powerful writing. Emotional. Raw. And muddy. You’ll get what I’m talking about the mud when you read her.

Thanks for pointing to Sara. Rob. I found her site much, much earlier when I was looking for blogs of people from Bay St. Louis and Waveland and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Then I lost track of her. (The way I track blogs I find, blo.gs, didn’t help here: Blo.gs “temporarily disabled” their search sometime in mid-or-late August, before Katrina hit, becaue I couldn’t then “search” for them on blo.gs and add them to my favorites.)

Hey Robert,
Thanks for all the informative info & articles! I was wondering if you’d heard of or knew of a good wiki for use on a PDA? Most popular ones are headaches to navigate on the small screen… =/
Thanks for your time!

Scoble, do you think that wordpress would be adequate for running a university weblog system? My job next week is to figure this out. Any links you could send me would be helpful

[…] Reading Scoble I found that Sara Ford was once an accessibility tester who had a presentation on Channel 9 on Accessibility and Visual Studio. In the comments was a reference to a shortcut to the accessibility features on Windows XP. A search on other Windows Key Shorcuts bought up this excellent list. […]
