DRM FUD (from: christopher baus.net)

I’m getting upset with all the DRM FUD going around. It is getting tothe point where I am losing respect for Boing Boing, and the EFF. They are over the topwith their anti-copyright stance. For once I thinkMicrosoft is getting a bad rap. I’ve used a subscription music service (Rhapsody)for 2 years, and I couldn’t be happier. I know exactly what I am payingfor, and I think I am getting an insane bargain. I know I don’t ownthe music. That’s a silly argument. When you buy a CD you aren’t buyingredistribution rights for that content. You are buying a personal license. Not much has changed here. If people actually tried the subscriptionservices (rather than just complaining about them), I think they would see what an amazing technology and deal it really is. (He says while happily streaming Mr. Scruff from Rhapsody).

Update: I’m in. I just bought an iRiver H-10 with 3 months of Napsterto go.
