First there were blogs. Then came podcasting via enclosure elements. Where do we go from here? With the release of the iPod photo and other such devices, my guess is that I will be photocasting. Why not have a slide show while listening to Dave Winer or Robert Scoble? Just think about it. You listening to a show from Scoble’s place and he mentions his red couch. You say to yourself what red couch. You then pull out you iPod photo and there it is the red couch and maybe Dave Winer or Shel Israel are sitting on it. Just think about that.
The obvious extension to that will be videocasting. This wont catch on for a while as the technology and the bandwidth are just not there yet. Well unless your willing to spend a lot.
Will this all happen? I have no idea. Could it happen? Sure. How will we know? A time machine, no just kidding guess we shall just find out.
