Hmmm, WordPress.com only lets me display a certain number of items on the home page. Well, tonight I’ve been a bit prolific. So, a bit of stuff (including a lengthy essay on attention that I hope Microsofties are reading) is on the second page. I know from usability studies that most people won’t go to a second page. Anyway, I’m heading to bed. See ya at the Blog Business Summit.
Update: I LOVE MY READERS. Within a few minutes Donncha answered this post and showed me where to find the right option. Damn, why is it under “reading?” I guess that makes sense, but not on first look. I was looking for “posting.” Heh.
You can change the number of items per page. Take a look at Options->Reading in your backend!

Thanks, I don’t know how I missed that.

Why call it attention and not identity ? And why keep it only in the web. Any portable device can carry your identity anywhere you go in some kind of wifi radius thingy. Get into a bar and have the bar music player mesh your music preferences into the playing list. Social music mesh up in the real world. The barmen offers you a menu built on your possible preferences. Are you flying to Brazil next month ? Here try this drink.

Google is doing advertising in magazines and other physical places. Yeah, you’re right.

Robert, make sure you poke around the Options bit for 10-20 minutes. There are lots, and lots, and lots of, well, options there to make your blog better

Hhahah, make sure you poke around options, man, how novel (and geeky). Hahah. And stuff being classified under ‘Reading’? How to bury it forever for a blogger.
Hahha. Too Funny. I wonder if a blog that labeled web-service meme’s under ‘Arts’ or ‘Literature’ would ever be read. This is a great parody idea, thanks.

As long as you’re changing WordPress options, could you turn on full text for your RSS feeds? I’d rather read everything in Outlook rather than shuttle back and forth between that and my browser…

J. I +am+ publishing full-text feeds. Did you see my post about how WordPress’s RSS sucks? Can you comment there about what reader you are using?
