Now THIS is a cool Web 2.0 app (hey, I beat TechCrunch!).
It’s called ZAMZAR and it converts file formats. Hundreds of them.
The only thing lame about it is that it only does 100MB files.
I need it to do up to 300 MBs. I’d pay for that.
Even better this was done by two brothers in the UK. Hey, maybe I can get them on camera next week?
From what I saw, it sends it to your email? I don’t really want to have to receive 100 MB attachments, but maybe that’s just me…

Have you noticed WMV is not in the list, neither as an input nor as an output format?
This strikes as odd, especially given the (awful) list of WMV-only products that Microsoft releases.

I was quite excited about seeing these online conversion sites. I have been searching around for free shareware to do video conversion. I want to find something so easy to use even my boss can use it. Very little luck.
