Live video streaming gets hotter…
I’m seeing Justin.tv cameras pop up all over the place (he’s handing them out to a number of people I’ve met lately). I bet that at this week’s TechCrunch party you’ll be able to watch at least 10 streams from people walking around.
Tomorrow John Edwards will be on Ustream after the CNN debates, Jeremiah Owyang announces. I wonder who’ll get more traffic? John Edwards or Chris Pirillo who also has a streaming video show?

Chris certainly deserves to get more traffic.

Just got back from the Portland Highland Games. My daughter and I were hungry and didn’t know the area very well and wound up at this place that turned out to be a sports bar. Couldn’t tell till I walked in.
There were three huge tv’s along one wall and each booth had it’s own controls so you could choose to listen to whichever one you wanted to. We didn’t turn on any.
Why does it have to be just sports??? Why couldn’t there be a video tech bar or a video reality bar or video comedy bar…
The next step up from social media, IMO, will be creating concrete places for having face-to-face fun, but still tied to virtual networks. Perhaps “video bars” is one such route.
I bet they’ll be popping up at some point.

Your 425 205 1921 cell phone or messaging is not working right now. I know it is not video streaming, but even simple voice mail can be useful.

Robert: weird, I’ll check on that. usually it says “don’t leave me a voice mail.”

what if everybody can make his “justin tv” by using a webcam?
a paris based company actually propose such a platform.
