Scoble 2.0 to ship at TechCrunch 20?
Heh, our kid is due on September 17. Mike Arrington, founder of TechCrunch, thought that was a good date to hold TechCrunch 20 (I’m one of the people advising the conference). I’m not getting paid or anything for this effort, just doing it cause I see a lot of interesting companies in my work and would like to help Mike out. It’s going to be a great time to ship. Babies or companies. You choose. :-)

I wonder how Patrick feels about being “a minor point-release.”

I hope Scoble 2.1 gets VC funding….is Maryem going to let you Scoblecast the big event?

Hmmm…so what happens if Scoble 3.0 doesn’t arrive on the designated date?
April 16th, 2007 at 7:42 pm
I think it should be 3.0. I feel ripped off.

Patrick, look at it this way. Scoble 1.0 (you) was such a success that they are going for Scoble 2.0

3.0 sounds good can’t wait to see it..

Expecting Maryam has Scoble 2.0 beta as of now :D
Looking forward to the public release in September.
No blog, not on ScobleShow, NOT ON TECHMEME too… so not Web 2.0ish :D

There will be OTHER TechCrunch Conferences -
but THIS baby will be a once in a lifetime gift.
The Web 2.0 Technology of today will be primitive by the next decade -
- but ten years from now your geek child will have read these archived blog discussions and discovered that a conference was chosen over being present during the birth….. :-?
LOL: Welcome to the realities of the early 21st Century.

Patrick: 1.0 is always the revolutionary one. The original. The trend setter. You know your place in the world. 2.0 has to try harder to come up to the standard you set.
Search Engine Web #8: what the hell are you talking about? There’s no way I’m attending this conference. I thought that was clear.

Uhm..i’am curious of knowing as it will be Scoble 2.0..

You know, I just wonder where you slept Robert after making this post? I mean, surely Maryam has already polited asked you to be at the gold master release so she can make sure there isn’t a sequel?
Oh and Patrick? Be happy you;re 1.0. Imagine being the one having to pay O’Reilly if a “Scoble 2.0″ conference / family reunion were to happen in the future!
(All in the best possible taste, y’understand)

Dear Mr. Scoble,
Though I’m not a regular reader of your Blog, I’ve always come across through other web logs referring to your site.
Had a question - How did you build your readership base and retain the same? Should the subject of your Blog be taken into account for the answer?
Do reply, if you have some time at hand.
Thanks!

photoallan: I’ve blogged almost every day for more than six years and have done thousands of things to get where I am today. But it started a long time before I even started a blog. I used to plan conferences for programmers and used to work at a computer programming magazine, which put me in touch with some really great people who build stuff that touches a lot of people’s lives.

Robert. I guess it all depends on whether you want to see yet more more start-ups or ever have sex again after your wife is feeling better post-Scoble2.0 launch.
Tough choice!
