Oh, I so know what Rob Lagesse is after when he writes a post about Blog Pruning. He wants less stuff to take his attention. That’s why I started my link blog. For busy people here at PodTech who don’t want to subscribe to 300 feeds. I gesture toward the best stuff and put it on my link blog. So, unsubscribe from 300 feeds and subscribe to that one!

I noticed Jeremiah mention your link blog so I will, too. I’m enjoying it very much and get a lot of valuable information from it, Robert. I’m glad you revived it (as I seem to remember you had one a while back but stopped keeping it?)

@R: Heck yeah, I watch your link blog. Instead of me subscribing to 3 million feeds, I just subscribe to yours. Been doing so since you started it. The REAL question, however, is are you following MINE?

Thanks for the recommendation about Google Reader. I switched from Bloglines to it and I’m never looking at another reader again.

Hey Robert, here’s one for your feeds: a blog collectively written by 176 juniors and seniors at a high school. It’s an interesting concept and I haven’t seen anything else like it thus far.

I cannot, for the life of me, imagine reading 300 feeds. I stay busy enough as it is with my 82 feeds and don’t understand how you find the time to read 300 feeds! You’re an uber-geek, Robert.

I thought you were at 200 feeds. Have you added another 100?

Robert - I like the link blogs as well. But guess what? I applied my rules to yours, and I deleted it. I couldn’t comment on it. I wasn’t always sure why you thought it was important, or how you felt about it.
I could’t access it the same way I read my own Google Reader feeds (why not?) I blogged about that a while ago here http://lagesse.org/index.php/2006/12/04/if-google-is-the-search-company/
I even used your link blog feed as an example.
And the truth is, I enjoyed your link blog - but it just isn’t interactive enough to keep me involved.
