Digg on the beach ruins the beach. I prefer to ‘dig’ on the beach. Beaches are for sandcastles and bare feet, not for alwaays-connectedness.
Unless your office is actually (physically) on the beach. Now that might be interesting. But Digg doesn’t exactly say “office” to me.

I didn’t mean it as harsh as it sounded… I think Robert was just being a geek, not working. But it does bother me how many people in our society can’t enjoy nature even when they are out in it. I see a lot of people in the city around me who could care less about anything that’s not man made… that can’t be a healthy attitude. I don’t think that Robert is that kind of person, I just took the opportunity to whine about people who can’t enjoy the planet they live on a little.
Especially amongst the young urban types, there seems to be a complete lack of use for anything not urban and urban culture related.
It kinda blows to have that many people with that attitude. I don’t think it bodes well for society or the planet.

I agree with radaronpaws… do you really need to keep up with Digg while you’re at the beach? Seems like there’s a lack of work/ life balance going on here…

There ain’t no frickin’ “WEB 2.0″. Enough said and end of the story!

Put down the stupid phone. Engage in an analogue conversation with the family. Look at the sky. Hear the water. Forget anything man-made for awhile.
Earth 1.0 trumps web 2.0 any day.

Hmmm. So, now there’s a good reason to go to the beach.
