I’m reading RSS feeds again. I find I’m enjoying those a lot more than reading TechMeme or TailRank alone. Why? Cause you find the small stories.
Like this one where Google sends Andy Beal a bottle of aspirin.
That’s funny.

I find RSS feeds are far superior because it means that it is you who is filtering the web rather than the aggregators and thus you get your own take on what’s happening and what you think is important.
If everyone just read TechMeme - sure it may be more convenient but you all end up talking about the same limited stuff and that’s what happened when we only had mainstream media.

I use NewsGator in Outlook. Part of it is I’m just used to it. Another? I like emailing around cool news items and Outlook is where I like to work.

Thanks Robert. I use FeedDemon with NewsGator Online at both home and work and love it. I was a FeedDemon user before NewsGator purchased Nick and his products but I am very happy with NewsGator and FeedDemon. Syncing is great between home and work
I don’t use Outlook at home (over kill for just email IMHO) so have never used the Outlook plugin from NewsGator (although I have heard good things), as I use FeedDemon at home I use it at work also so I don’t have to know two applications
One thing I love is how I can use the same license on both machines.
