I am watching the reports from Reboot, which is taking place now in Copenhagen, and wishing I was there. I was planning on being there before my mom died, but now I have to watch Nicole and Thomas and all the cool European technologists having a good time from afar.
Lee Wilkins says that it's one of the best conferences he's ever attended.
Nicole has a ton of excellent interviews again (she always does).

How does your travel deal at Channel 9/Microsoft actually work? Sometimes it just appears like you pick up and… go someplace where something cool’s happening. I’m sure there’s some kind of approval process. But, if so… it’s lost on us. Or, do you really just get to decide one morning you’re going to someplace and then go?

gwhiz: Reboot invited me to speak at their conference. They would have paid my travel. But, often, my boss pays me to attend events to represent Microsoft and, because we have offices in a lot of places in the world, take videos of what employees are doing at the local offices.

Podesta: I have no idea why you believe that Windows causes reboots a lot, but that hasn’t been my experience. Maybe it’s cause I use a Tablet PC that has good drivers, though. I hear most crashes are caused by poorly-written drivers.
