Blog constipation

I’m taking the day off. There are so many things to say so much about that I just don’t know where to start, so I won’t try. Plus, I haven’t seen Maryam for almost a week. I’m also experiencing very high email flows (I am almost caught up). Whew. Now I have hundreds of things to blog about. I’m so far behind it isn’t funny. Maybe I should just delete my “blog this” folder and start over. :-)

  • True friends are those who really know you but love you anyway.

I think the best idea would be to just do a link dump with maybe a sentence or two explaining why you thought something was interesting.
  • Blogsipation? I think we coined a new word.
  • Drop the lot into a post and go. Don't edit! Just do! Think of it as an experiment in raw materials. You'll feel better once it's empty. ;)
  • How about a summary post: all the things I wanted to blog about and have not had time to. And move on ?
I am thinking about doing just that.
  • Or get the best of both worlds: Post a list of all the things you have on your "blog this" list becuase they caught your eye, then delete away. I did that recently. :)

And as an added bonus, encourage others to blog about items from your list that they especially liked.
  • Willem: yeah, by "deleting all." Heheh.

Or, by cracking open a 12-year-old Scotch Whisky like I did with my brother just a while ago. :-)
  • Just read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_overload
I Heard Marc Prensky say that only "digital immigrants" suffer from information overload.
Digital natives seem to be able to cope with it...

Do. Just forget you did so that you don't feel guilty, and start over. It helps :P
