CES coverage should be interesting on gadget sites

I was talking with Jason Calacanis (founder of Weblogsinc.com) yesterday and he told me that AOL was sending a bunch of bloggers to CES to cover that, particularly on their Engadget site. The next few days on Engadget and its competitors, Gizmodo, and Gear Live, should be darn interesting.

  • Ahem. See the URL on my name on THIS post.
  • My wife and I will also be posting a few CES items on our little gadget blog (see URL on my name).

Ran into Jason Calacanis in the press room today, apparently he's herding all of the Engadget bloggers. (Jason said they have 12 people here.)
  • Cameron: thanks, post here any good site that has good CES info.
  • Don't forget about the other WIN sites Robert - Cheers
  • I just blogged about the first Yonah laptop and a nice photo of the Windows Vista Tent.
  • Before the show starts what would you like to see new and unexpected being announced either from the show and/or the keynote speakers?

Longer battery life for my mobile devices.
Universal power adapters because I have hundreds of different power wires for each new device - why?
Intel WiMax chips with 802.11n support
    Zigbee or Z-Wave products everywhere.

    Sam
  • Cool, thanks!
  • No Gear Live love? They said they were sending a team down there as well. Gotta represent the Seattle gadget blog Robert! ;)
