Xbox 360 night coming up

Hey, I don’t have an Xbox 360, but that won’t stop me. I keep getting invited over to friend’s houses to play their systems. Which is funny cause I certainly won’t get them any new “achievements” (those are rewards for completing certain tasks).

That said, if you are one of the lucky Xbox 360 owners, you’re welcome to join us. I’ll be at Jeff Sandquist’s house tonight. I hear his daughter Josie has been practicing at Geometry Wars to beat me. Oh, Josie, beating me is no challenge at all! Can you beat Brandon, though? That’s the question!

His gamer tag is jeffsand. We’ll accept as many invites to play as we can tonight. I should be there by 7 p.m.

    The XBOX 360 is a beautiful machine with superb graphics. Has anyone taken a serious look at turning it into a work center? I feel bad about 30,000 GM workers and 30,000 Ford workers losing their jobs. However, since there are huge amounts of genetic sequences to be classified, imagine if Lilly, Microsoft, and GM to could develop a simple program to convert 30,000 “GM line workers” into gene-segment analysts/workers, all connected on a networked X-Box 360 running from their homes…

    I didn’t order it cause I knew I’d be traveling most of the month of December and didn’t want it to arrive when I was in France.

    I would check best buy on the 22nd. THere was some noise on the forums about that. Other than the forum community, I know nothing about that.

    Did you know when playing on Live under someone else’s 360, you can actually link in your own profile? Therefore both you and Jeff can be playing with your own gamertags.

    Doh, guess I missed out. That’s what I get for playing with the new Vista CTP instead of reading my feeds :P

    I’m gonna be busy with visiting family for a few days, but maybe next week I’ll have a 360 gathering of my own.

    As somebody mentioned it several days ago - BestBuy in LA was selling XBox today (Dec 22., 2005) - and no lines just surprised morning visitors of BB store…;-)
    They had at least 25 units…
