Performancing for Firefox adds tools for blogging

I was testing out the Performancing for Firefox extension last night. Pretty damn cool! It lets you blog a page just by right-clicking on that page (it hooks up to most modern blog services).

The Crazy 8 Opinions blog has a post of 8 less-well-known Firefox extensions if you’re looking for some cool goodies for your Firefox browser.

  • Performancing published the 1.0.1 version of their tool a couple of days ago. It fixes some bugs and ads some support for new blog packages.
  • Performancing is a nice add-in. For a *much* more advanced blog editor, check out RocketPost:

It has built-in photo editing, spell checking, auto linking to related posts, Technorati/Delicious tags, AutoCorrect, and lots more. (I designed it.)
  • Hi Robert

This is an excellent add-in thanks it was not on my radar but I am using it now. Lets hope the IE7 team see this post.

IE7 needs to create a similar cool add-in as well as a great add-in program like FF. Maybe now that IE is using the FF RSS Icon maybe they can adopt the the same add-in program.

Equally now that Spaces supports the MetaWeblog API hopefully Dare Obasanjo can convince developers to list Spaces in their programs. Sadly Performancing does not include Sapces in their list of blog services they support.

    Thanks
    Sam
