Hang in there - i think Tablet functionality is important, I use it, but not every day, and I would be very sad to see it go. I think it adds certain additional functionality that is vitally important. But it’s always the same cast of characters, repeating the same tired script (minus some, like HPClean), same dead-men-walking Tablet team on the eternal Tech and Educational conference romps and the same generic developers cooking up the same usual Early Adopter rot, with the big developers not seeing enough demand to care, and the same MVPIsh religiously zealotish fanboys as “community”, playing the usual inside-baseball Microsoft games, the same over-the-top Gates hubris that never gets reflected in terms of real action. It’s been more than 4 years for me and the storyline has never changed, well minus the backtracking on training and touchscreen. Wake me up in 2 years or so.

And oh, you do know the Microsoft buzzword is NOT Tablet anymore? Rather “Ultra-mobile PC” or “Mobile PC”. Har har har. Beyond lame.
