Nagging as evangelism…
Hey, Adam, your post reminds me. Have you tried a Tablet PC yet? Oh, wait, I’m not supposed to do GYM posts. Heheh. And with that nag, I’m off.
While I’m gone, there are lots of other places to watch. Microsoft has 2,000 bloggers. Most are at http://blogs.msdn.com/ but some are at http://blogs.technet.com.
My favorite blog news sites are
http://tech.memeorandum.com
http://www.digg.com
I’m not looking forward to being offline for 15 hours without a clue about what’s going on (British Air doesn’t have Wifi on their planes yet).
Hope to see you on the other side! Oh, and if you think I’m a shill, you can take a poll about just what kind of shill am I. That’s thanks to Topper Bowers, founder of Quimble.com, a new polling service. Ahh, it’ll be fun to see what that poll looks like after I get off the plane. I noticed that you can vote multiple times, which isn’t good. Oh well, vote early, vote often, I say.

Offline for 15 hours? Omigosh, will you ever survive? The tragedy, the horror, the scourge, the blazing hearth of sheer void nothingness. Hope you make it out alive.

I hope I make it out alive. I’m going to be reduced to reading stuff printed on dead trees. :-)

Dead trees? What about reading something via Zinio on the tablet … or do they not have juice on those long flights either?

TDavid: no juice! :-)

I doubt he even knows of or has Zinio installed, Tablet is mainly just a photo-op unit for him…and there is that MS Reader too, MFST abandonware de jour. I hope Vista grants some sort of eBook app. That and Final Draft or Movie Magic going Ink, would bring me back.
Speaking of Tablets tho the Acer C204TMi and C203ETCi are looking hecko impressive, big improvements over older Acers, nice with that “sliding” display mechanism and finally with a halfway decent GPU, the NVIDIA Go 6200. And you can get Fujitsu LifeBook P1500D TOUCHSCREEN with Tablet Edition pretty darn soon, interesting to see how that will play out.

Just curious, how did you customize your blog’s theme/template?

Could we exchange Blogrolls?

Re: nagging as evangelism, I thought this kind of evangelism was all about repeating words and ideas; take for example the way how Microsoft bloggers started, as one, using any pretext to come up with sentences which somehow associate Google with Yahoo and Microsoft. Could trustworthiness rub off like that?
November 24th, 2005 at 9:43 am
Chris: I have Zinio.
Aaron, I have written about both of those.
Trustworthiness rubbing off Google? Oh, I wish it were that easy!

Thanks Robert!
Voting multiple times I think is one of those “features” that I should have tested a little more before putting it in. Not an oversight, but It’s my number one feedback.

[...] Robert Scoble kindly linked to a poll on Quimble. Thanks! You should check out his blog too, it’s filled with good insight. [...]
