How do I get Scoble to link to my PR?

I’ll be honest. I’m staring at 315 unanswered emails. See, getting to the top of Memeorandum for a day increases email load. It’s not fun.

Maryam and I were at a geek party last night and someone asked how they could get me to write about them. I said “get my wife to write about you, she has more traffic than I do anyway.” Which isn’t far from the truth. She has had 30,000 unique visitors already. Amazing since she just started blogging a few weeks ago.

Anyway, if she thinks there’s something worth linking to she comes over and keeps nagging me until she gets my attention. Heh. It’s a new kind of attention trust.

This morning? She was asking me to link to her post about the Best of MSDN’s Webcasts. Hey, what am I going to do, turn down my wife?

Not to mention MSDN’s Webcasts are free, interactive, and have many of the world’s best developers presenting new concepts and techniques. Well worth checking out and linking to.

You should have turned her down: More time to read some email.

This is why I don’t want to get married. Hey College’s restock on women every year, it’s great!

The webcasts are fantastic - only problem is there are too many of them, and you don’t know which ones you should watch. You can’t watch all of them.

Will Microsoft make videos available through iTunes? It’s becoming convenient and quite enjoyable for me to watch videos on my iPod. And I imagine that is and will be true for others.

Well that would be the logical thing to do, but you know it isn’t going to happen.

I like that in the xbox 360 it will speak to your psp and to your ipod. this is a step in the right direction, playing well with others.

right now, they want you to watch their videos on their system, with their codec. don’t even expect ipod video formatted videos.

I think Maryam has 30,000 hits on her site because there’s 30,000 women out there who want adivce on living with tech geeks.

    I know that’s why *I* read her!

How does she know that she has 30,000 uniques? I see nothing in Msn Spaces information that provides that information ( or am I missing something?).

Not only does the MSDN group do webcasts, but Technet does them as well for ITPros. Both MSDN and Technet provide webcasts offline as a part of our Resource DVD’s which you can pick up at our live events. You can register for those events at http://technetevents.com and http://msndevents.com respectively. We have some excellent “Best of SQL” events in the next few weeks across the US to support the launch of SQL, Visual Studio and Biztalk.

Webcasts are great, but you have to jump through hoops to register and get the content. Why can’t you just download the events that have already taken place without giving all your information to M$? I Subscribe to the RSS feed when new events post, but I would like to download just as easy. The Windows media file should be enclosed so I can view the (archive not live, just to clarify) event easy.

You bring alot to companies and give credible exposure, but if I were you, I would only talk about people I find through 3rd parties or my own research.
